Silver Eagle Toothpick Holder

Silver eagle toothpick holder, representative of the eagle captured by Sgt Ewart of The Royal Scots Greys at Waterloo. It was presented to the Sergeants' Mess,  Royal Scots Greys by Lt Col Maberley on his retiring from the Regiment 1892. The neck of the Eagle is hinged and opens to reveal a toothpick receptacle.
